Project 1:1000 Creator and Roadtrip: Project 1:1000, Volume I author, David Overturf, serves on a panel with Shann Ray and Craig Hergert, who were at the Montana Book Festival promoting their collaboration, Montana Panoramic: Transparent in the Backlight.

The panel was titled "The Picture or the Thousand Words?"  Its focus was to "engage with the words we use to describe images: do the words come from the image, inspiring a piece, or do they try to enlighten something unclear."
